Digital Tuesday Clearly Beautiful Challenge

It's Digital Tuesday and I got to pick the challenge theme this week!  I went with Clearly Beautiful as my theme...I want to see clear elements on your cards...think buttons, charms, acetate!

I decided the other day when I was in Office Max to splurge on some 3M Transparency Film for Ink Jet Printers.  I won't lie....almost didn't do it...at $60 a package for 50 sheets the thought made me shudder...but if I print in wallet or 3x5 sizes...it helps make the $1.25 a sheet more tolerable... 30 cents for a quarter sheet...less for the wallet size.  See....I can rationalize very well when it comes to my crafty supplies!!  *wink!

I printed the Scrolled Frame image from McMahonFive Designs on the acetate.  I cut it out and attached it to some printed/foil accented designer paper with a glue dot on each corner.  I love the fact I've created a frame for my flower image that allows the designer paper to show through.  I embellished the frame with some Candi embellishments.

Next I fussy cut the Peony Love image after I had printed and colored it with Copic Markers on white cardstock.  Copic Markers:  R39, R37, YG63, YG61, W1, E42.

As a finishing touch, I popped it up on foam tape and added some Silver Medal You're So Fine Glitter.

Be sure you stop by the Digital Tuesday blog to see the Clearly Beautiful card elements by the rest of the team.  Show us your Clear Stuff for a chance to win some images!!

Wow Michelle this is amazing - love every element of it - especially the way you have used the acetate.

Gorgeous! Love the frame! You know, I recently need some transparency film for an art project I was working on, and I couldn't believe the prices at Office Supplies stores either! I was shocked. I did find it much cheaper on-line though.
wow this is gorgeous, love it !!!
