CropStop Challenge ~ Lace!

This week our CropStop weekly challenge is to use lace!  I decided to use the paper variety on my card thise week.

The papers from BasicGrey's Out of Print 6x6 pad were lacey in appearance.  Love all the warm neutral tones in this design.  I stamped the dress form from Stamper's Anonymous Haberdasery set with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

For an additional lace touch, I used Martha Stewart's Deep Edge Bangle Chain punch with some shimmery coated ivory cardstock.

For my flower, I punched a 1 1/2 inch circle of cardstock and Scor-Tape.  I made a rosette using the May Arts Sheer Ruffle Edge Ribbon, starting on the outer edge and ending towards the center of the circle.  Since I was adding some large vintage buttons as my accent, I only made two rotations and left the center bare.
For the *leaves* of my rosette flower I used some vintage floss wrappers.  My final touch was a touch of faux stitching.

Don't forget, my blog readers can use this special coupon code to save 10% on your entire CropStop purchase!!

THANKS! Coupon Code CTMP-01 saves my readers 10%!

And last but no least, it was fun to meet up with some of the CropStop Creative Team at CHA last week!   We met up at the Ranger Booth during a Tim Holtz Demo.  Proof is right here in his video clip of the show!  A quick peek of us before we got busy chattering!  My goal is to upload some of the CHA photos I took in my Friday post this week!

Be sure to check out the Crop Stop Challenge each week...there is always a lot of inspiration and fabby prizes to be won!

lovely card Michelle, and I love the way the punched strip echos the design in the paper.
