Crop Stop Challenge - Shiny Objects

This week's Crop Stop Challenge was to use something shiny on our cards. I decided to go masculine on my card this week. For my background, I used a Tim Holtz Mini Mask - Compass and pale blue cardstock. I applied Distress Inks in Victorian Velvet, Tumbled Glass and Shabby Shutters over my mask. I ran the panel through my Hounds Tooth Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and then hit it lightly with my Tumbled Glass distress ink. For my card border I stamped the Stampers Anonymous Ruler from the Tim Holtz Collection and then mounted it on a distressed piece of black cardstock. For my *shiny* touches I added some hardware from Tim Holtz's collection along with some fabby star brads I had in my stash. Also shiny is the mirracardstock I framed my sentiment with. Another final masculine touch is the piece of screen I found when I was digging for my mirracard. The sentiment stamp and frame are Spellbinders Compatible Stamps that I stamped, cut out and popped up on foam tape. We hope you can join us for the challenge...one lucky participant will win a Crop Stop prize...FUN! Also, be sure to use the COUPON CODE on my sidebar to SAVE 10% off of your next CropStop order! Thanks!!
