The Rubber Cafe Challenge

This week's challenge at The Rubber Cafe was to make a card with NO designer paper.

What I did for my background paper was to stamp the Blossom Branch randomly with Tim Holtz Peeled Paint. Then I randomly added Peeled Paint, Frayed Burlap and Victorian Velvet inks to distress the panel. Next I ran it through Cuttlebug's Hounds Tooth embossing folder and then inked it again with Peeled Paint distress ink.

For the main image, I stamped Blossom Branch on ivory cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers E44, RV89, RV34 and RV32. The sentiment is from Give Momma Some Love.

Other items on this card are Martha Stewart border punch, vintage seam binding and adhesive pearls.

Come join the challenge for a chance to win a prize!

I would love to see a tutorial on this using the Tim Holtz stuff as I am a visual learner. This project is AWESOME!!!!

I think I need to look at your blog more often, so I don't need to leave a million comments...Yeah? I love the background paper and I love the flower border. Is that flower border a Martha Stewart punch?
